Like every game, Golf has its own rules and you have to follow them if you want to be called a golf player.

As a first step you can take a look at the 10 fundamental guidelines made by GOLF Magazine teamed with the USGA. These guidelines summarize most situations you are likely to encounter on the course.

These are the official rules, made by The USGA and The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, Scotland, that "jointly write and interpret the Rules of Golf to guard the tradition and integrity of the game".
